Shellcrete used to be a page on the SRQ Modern site. It now has its own, and this is what is on it.
The material, properly explained
What Shellcrete is covers the mix, how it is placed, and the three ways it gets finished — honed, polished and exposed shell are genuinely different surfaces, not three names for a preference.
What it costs, and what it beats
The cost page gives real ranges rather than "call for pricing". The guides compare it honestly against pavers and travertine, including the cases where the other one wins.
There is also a guide about the names. Tabby, coquina and washed-shell concrete describe the same family of surface, several companies make one, and no page on the open web said so plainly. Ours does.
Looking after it
Care and maintenance and the blog cover the questions that arrive after installation — what to seal it with, what makes it slippery, and which of the things that appear in week two are normal rather than defects.
Same company, same crews
Shellcrete is poured and finished by SRQ Modern's own people. Nobody subcontracts the finish and hopes. The split is about making it findable, not about creating a second business.
